The contest began with Pakistan posting a competitive 182/7 after being put in to bat. Skipper Salman Agha anchored the innings with a classy 53* off 36 balls, while quick cameos from Sabijana Farhan (21 off 10) and Mohammad Nawaz (21 off 11) gave the innings late momentum.
