“I was in Mykonos, reading my book and enjoying the view, when I realized I had let my emotions control me in those two finals,” Aryna Sabalenka said. “I had this mindset that just reaching the final meant I was going to win, and that held me back.”

“I kind of didn’t expect the players to come out and fight; I assumed everything would go easily in my favor, which was completely the wrong mindset,” she admitted at press conference
